Medical One - Elwood

Excellent service and care. Had to attend on a Sunday for a minor urgent medical issue as nothing else available or open in the vicinity. Dr Pablo was the essence of professionalism and care. Lady at reception was very polite and helpful. No waiting! Thanks team.

The reception staff were kind and accomodating, thank you. The Doctor I booked in with is the only one that charges above the standard costs for a Chronic Disease Management Plan which I was not informed of. When I went in he was more interested in discussing finance than anything I came in for. The appointment would not have been made if I had this prior knowledge.

I have been going to this clinic for 20 years. But today I had an emergency situation and saw a brand new doctor Dr Kristy who had no idea what she was doing. I was so concerned by the doctor’s presentation and lack of guidance about my condition I immediately booked a second appointment at another clinic, who did a proper assessment and further tests, If you have a serious issue only see a doctor you have seen before at this clinic. My experience had me in tears. I won’t be going back.

I’ve been going here for 10 years and the service has declined significantly. It’s clearly about $$$$$ and not healthcare. The administration and reception staff couldn’t organise a piss up in a brewery. If you also want to be left sitting in the waiting room long after your appointment time, and treated like your time has no value, then book into Elwood. If you actually care about you and your family’s health find another Doctors.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. It is now 9 days since my appointment with Dr Pablo Chakma and I am yet to receive my referrals. After approx. 5 emails between the reception team and I, as well as calls, nothing. I will be reporting my concerns to Ahpra and seeing another doctor/practice.
