The Myofunctional Centre North Balwyn - Dentist in Doncaster

Unfortunately this is not a review of the actual treatment, but I feel this experience needs to be shared. I contacted the Balwyn clinic to ask for a rough idea of costs for my son before booking, including ongoing appointment costs after the initial consult. I completely understand that treatment plans vary and exact quotes cannot be given before assessment. However, when I politely asked for a general range for ongoing appointments so I could assess affordability, I was simply told: “We are advised at reception to say anywhere between $5-$15 thousand.” I found this response quite disappointing and dismissive, especially when I was asking a genuine question as a parent trying to budget for my child’s healthcare. It would also surprise me if there were any appointments that actually cost $5. Thankfully, I then called the North Melbourne clinic, explained what had happened, and was very grateful that the receptionist there was extremely helpful, kind, and able to clearly explain what typical treatment pathways and approximate costs can look like. Customers deserve clear and respectful communication when asking reasonable questions about fees. I also think it would be beneficial for the Balwyn reception team to take note of how the North Melbourne clinic responds to customer enquiries.

My son has been a patient at the dental suites with Dr Richard for over 2 years. Dr Richard is honest about the best approach to take and I put all my trust in him to help my sons underbite issue. And 2 years later I can happily say that the whole treatment has been succesful and low impact on our lives. This is one decisiion as a parent I am so happy I made. Thanks for your help and guidance during this myotherapy treatment to Dr Richard and his team. Yes, I reccomend this treatment and business to other parents and patients.

Professional, friendly and always made to feel welcomed from the time you step in. Donny is very much up to date with his knowledge and has the equipment and staff to back up his diagnosis and management. Donny and Dalena have been excellent and patient with both of our kids, intervening at the right ages and managing their oral growth to lessen the need for more aggressive oral/dental treatments further down the track. Thanks to Donny and the dental suites for maintaining my family's dental and oral care.

My children have always walked out happy after their visit to the dentist because the team at the Dental Suites have always been welcoming, caring and professional. My son has recently undertaken a Myobrace treatment to correct his crossbite. Now that he is part way through the course, I can see the immense improvement and his teeth are now correctly aligned bringing a great smile to his face! We cannot thank Dr.Donny and his team enough for their diligence, patience and professional care. I have complete confidence in the team and the state of the art facilities that are offered. I would highly recommend the Dental Suites to anyone.

My whole family are looked after by Dr. Donny Mandrawa and his team. Dr. Donny is the best dentist I have ever met and he could make my kids feel so calm despite their underlying anxiety. His care for my hubby’s fractured jaw and broken teeth were super attentive after a bike accident. Now my hubby can put a confident smile again. Also he fixed my jaw pain and headache related to my grinding overnight. So Highly Recommended!!!
