The entire ‘Medlands experience’ has been A1. The staff are always so helpful, friendly and approachable. The hygienist I saw was brilliant, she did a brilliant job and was a great educator, and explained everything very well. Dr Ian Morrison is a brilliant dentist, whose care, professionalism and attention to detail makes him an exceptional practitioner. Though i live some distance from Medlands, I have continued to stay, rather than seek dental treatment closer to me, because Doctor Morrison is such a fantastic dentist. Thank you to Dr Morrison and the entire team!

My last cleaning was done in Hong Kong when I went back, so I was a bit wishy-washy about seeing a dentist here. I was also a little embarrassed because I have a lot going on in my mouth in my late 20s — one bridge, one crown, and a few missing teeth (actually three, including the one under my bridge). But I didn’t feel judged at all — everyone was really nice and just focused on helping me with my teeth. Susanne was my hygienist and Dr. Morrison did my check-up. Both were super gentle and professional. The best part was Susanne talked me through what I’ve been doing correctly and what I haven’t, showing me in the mirror so I can be aware of it in the future. She also kept reassuring me that I’ve actually been taking good care of my teeth, which made me feel much less embarrassed. Even though I know my dental problems, I also have a budget — and I felt totally comfortable asking for a quote and letting them know. Don’t feel ashamed to talk about money! For me, it really felt like a big step to take care of my teeth. Dr. Morrison recommended I take care of another urgent issue first instead of the crown I thought should be done, which I really appreciated. Dental assistant Holly was super nice too! She made me feel very relaxed, and even though she was busy helping with x-rays and assisting Susanne, she was always friendly and attentive. (She was wearing the really cute teeth earrings today!) The highlight for me at the end of the appointment was the warm towel — it felt so nice and completely freshened me up. So glad I came here for my first cleaning in Australia!

I don’t usually write reviews, but… absolutely incredible dental treatment from Dr. Sarah Kam — well beyond my expectations. She clearly deserves more than five stars.

From my first contact with Medland Dental, I knew I was in excellent hands. The receptionists are brilliant—friendly and efficient. I was privileged to see Dr. Morrison, who is outstanding - an exceptional human and health professional. Dr. Morrison and his assistants are masters of their craft, and their pride in delivering a gold-standard experience is evident. They genuinely care about their patients' experiences and outcomes. I love that they are an independent dentist—one of few remaining in Brisbane, meaning I received advice in my best interests, not the health fund's! One of Medland's strengths is putting nervous patients entirely at ease. I have already recommended this practice to friends who have also had excellent experiences. If you need a new dentist because you haven't been for years or are looking to make a change, I couldn't recommend this practice more highly.
