I cannot recommend Brisbane Smiles Toowong highly enough. After suffering from severe dental anxiety for more than 15 years due to previous bad experiences, I avoided treatment and was left with some major dental issues that needed attention. From my very first appointment, the entire team made me feel safe, supported, and genuinely cared for. Dr Paul was incredibly patient, calm, and understanding while diagnosing my dental concerns. He took the time to explain everything thoroughly and immediately put me at ease. A special mention must go to Lucy, my treatment coordinator, who has been absolutely exceptional throughout my journey. Lucy is kind, compassionate, and always willing to go above and beyond to help. No question is ever too much trouble, and her warm nature, professionalism, and genuine care have made such a difference during what could have been a very overwhelming process. Dr Sav has completely restored my faith in dentistry. His skill, attention to detail, and commitment to patient care are truly outstanding. From the very beginning, he has built trust through his calm approach, constant reassurance, and genuine concern for my wellbeing. He always checks that I am comfortable, takes the time to explain procedures, and follows up to ensure I am recovering well. The quality of his work is exceptional, and I have complete confidence in his expertise. He is not only an incredible dentist but also someone who genuinely cares about his patients. Of course, Madonna at reception deserves recognition as well. She is always welcoming, friendly, and makes every visit a positive experience from the moment you walk through the door. Brisbane Smiles Toowong is truly a one-of-a-kind practice. Every member of the team is professional, compassionate, and dedicated to providing the highest standard of care.

After a few not-so-great experiences with other dental practices, I came into Brisbane Smiles pretty apprehensive but the experience here has honestly been refreshing. What stood out to me first was how considerate the entire team is (other reviewers were spot on about this). From reception through to treatment and after, there’s a level of attentiveness that immediately makes the environment feel more comfortable, especially if you’re someone who gets anxious about dental appointments. Dr Sav has been fantastic during my visits. He’s very thorough and detail-oriented, but also approachable in a way that makes it easy to ask questions or voice concerns. I really value how transparent he is about treatment and care - he explains things clearly, doesn’t overcomplicate anything, and makes sure you actually understand what’s happening. I find that level of communication rare and builds a lot of trust as a patient. Also a big credit to his lovely assistant (I’m terrible with names), who’s been so kind, calming, and attentive during appointments. Together, they’ve made what used to be a somewhat daunting experience feel far more manageable. Overall, I would definitely recommend Brisbane Smiles, particularly for anyone who’s had difficult dental experiences in the past or struggles with dental anxiety 😊

5 star treatment! From the moment I walked in, I received a genuine warm welcome from reception. Staff were very polite throughout the tour of the facilities and whilst assisting in the consultation. Dr Savnak was very professional, knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Billy also was great and did a fantastic job with the clean afterwards. I’ve recently started going to Brisbane Smiles and have been so amazed by how friendly, caring and professional everyone is. I’m not a fan of going to the dentist but the team have made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in, showing me all the facilities, meeting the team and taking time to get to know me too. I was in for a check up and a clean for the first time at Brisbane smiles, I was made to feel very welcome by Madonna on the desk straight away, she was very kind. The rest of the team were very helpful. I saw Dr Karuna for my check up and Brad for my clean, both were very thorough and detailed in their work. I then saw Beatrice to finalise my future treatment, she was very informative and very clear about what my treatment entailed. I had a great experience an can’t recommend the practise enough they were brilliant.
