Craigmore Family Practice - Dentist in Elizabeth

I've been going to this practice for 15+years. They have a good array of Drs and allied health services. I've heard that the practice is getting alot more patient's, which is a good, but I'm finding that it's taking away from the service. I have found that over the last few years, the waiting time for anyone to answer the phone is blowing out, it can be up to 20 minutes for someone to answer the phone. The practice have gone through a lot of receptionist also. You just to know them, then there gone. Realistically 10 minutes isn't really enough allocated time slot to see a doctor to talk about your issues. So because of this the Drs often run late. When it's comes to the phone consultations it blows out even more. I sometimes find that the Drs try to rush you because they're running late. So, My family often makes a double appointment now to see our Dr so we actually have time to discuss what we need. So hopefully don't have that feeling of being rushed because our time allowance has ran out and whatever time is left the doctor might to catch up. The Drs, nurse and receptionist that I have dealt with over the years, have been friendly and willing to go over and beyond to help with any inquiries that I had.

My experience on Tuesday 28 April 2026. Firstly, the check in process was efficient and seamless. Lighthearted banter is always welcomed from my perspective and the interaction between the custom service officer and myself was just that. Secondly, my session with Dr Henry was, as always, totally relevant to my chronic condition with a detailed explanation as to both process and assessment. Again, lighthearted interaction is always appreciative and this session was no different. Thirdly, Dr Henry and the Craigmore Family Practice has been my go-to health clinic for quite some time in areas pertaining to diagnosis, understanding, advice and appropriate treatment options whether it be medication or referrals to specialists in the health and medical areas pertinent my health. Fantastic doctors and friendly reception staff. My family and I have been attending the.clinic for our GP, dental, immunisation and pathology appointments for over 30 years. Children, DVA and concession card holders are even bulk billed—such a rarity these days. Dr Stefan in particular is very friendly, knowledgeable and patient. He’s easy to talk to and never in a rush to kick you out the door. He’s great with chronic condition management and mental health concerns.

Craigmore Family Practice is a fantastic surgery. I’ve seen a few different doctors there and the nurse and they care very much about you and your well-being and health. Dr Unterkofler is thoroughly supportive and professional. The receptionists are very helpful and always so pleased to see you. I can’t fault it! They could have 10 more Drs there and it would be still great!

Been a patient for nearly 24 years this used to be a great place. Nornmally when attending an apointment would say my name and time of my appointment last time the receptionist asked my date of birth my adress when I asked her why she was asking these questions she said they always do i said no I have never been asked these questions she used a rude tone in her voice and told me to step black. I have like I said been going there for nearly 24 years the ladies knew me by sight I have mobility issues she could see as I was using a walker and had difficulty standing up so long.i asked my husband to speak to her so I could sit down as I was in a lot of pain she snapped at him rudely and he said my wife is in a lot of pain. She answered im in chronic pain. Sorry im not at the doctor to listen to her im a patient coming for my needs . I replied to her at least you are sitting down. She then said to my husband woa take it easy he was shocked as he is a very gentle person and takes others needs into consideration but she was rude to him also.as I was going into see the podiatrist I could hear her laughing and joking to the ladies in room behind their counter not sure if she was making fun of us . I felt bullied by her attitude and very uncomfortable not wanting to return to the surgery. If you are dealing with public please be considerate of your patients needs lady you have no right to abuse us . I worked in service delivery before retiring and her behaviour was totally unacceptable she should not be working with sick and vulnerable people being at the desk you are representing your company what a disgraceful way to do this . Abuse of elderly and sick people should not be tolorated .I also feel asking so many personal questions is not necessary in this age with so many scammers . Not to mention giving my adress and personal details with some person hearing it makes me vulnerable to attack in my home not good enough
