I attended the Urgent Care Clinic. The Triage Nurse was amazing and was interested in what had happened to me. She took all the details and told me I would now need to wait for the Doctor. Doctor Lou also showed an interest i haven't had for ages with a Dr. She referred me for an Xray which was done and the results conveyed to me. To be honest the experience was the best I've had in the medical field for years. Thank you..

I was very disappointed with my experience at this medical centre. I have a low immune system and am on dialysis three times a week, so I try to avoid spending long periods in waiting rooms. I had been waiting for about 30 minutes when another lady walked in holding her head. She appeared fine otherwise, but she was called in before me even though I had been waiting longer. I understand there may be reasons for this, but no explanation was given. I was also unhappy with the receptionist's professionalism. She was talking to me with something in her mouth, which I found rude and inappropriate. After this experience, I decided to leave without being seen. Better communication and customer service would go a long way in improving patients' experiences.

I attended here last week as my regular GP was unavailable. I selected the first available Dr when I arrived and used the app. I was surprised when the app told me the Dr was ready to see me straight away. I saw Dr Zahabia Karimi, who was remarkably thorough, listened well, and was very conscientious. I had to re-attend the following day and only waited a few minutes before seeing Dr Karimi again. My third visit was for an X-ray and there were no issues at all either. I re-attended this morning to discuss my X-ray and again had a very short wait for Dr Karimi. I would also like to mention how great it is that you are open at 7am. I was able to see the Dr, get home, and get to work on time, which is so convenient. Some medical centres don’t open until 9am! A very pleasant first experience attending Our Medical, and I will definitely recommend this medical centre. I will be back (hopefully not any time soon, even though my Dr was lovely lol).

We attended Our Medical Home Penrith after my son injured his toe, as we wanted to ensure it wasn’t serious. Your receptionist tonight prevented him from receiving medical care by telling us the clinic was no longer taking patients at 6:50pm. We reminded her that the clinic closes at 10pm, but she insisted there were 17 patients ahead of us, some of whom had been waiting since 3pm. We asked if we could wait, as the queue often decreases later in the evening. She refused and told us we should go to the hospital instead. We explained that if a hospital visit was necessary, the doctor could assess him and provide a letter for emergency. She told us the doctor could not do that. We left the centre, only to receive another call on our way home stating that our check‑in was being cancelled due to wait times. Then, after we were already home, I received a call at 8:15pm from the doctor asking where we were because she was ready to see us. Your receptionist took it upon herself to decide who would and would not be seen, despite having no medical knowledge or training to make those decisions. This directly impacted my son’s ability to access medical care and is completely unacceptable. A complaint has been filed with the HCCC, and I will be contacting the clinic manager on Monday to discuss this further.

From the layout, cleanliness and signage of the building to the friendliness of ALL the staff, this was a great experience. I found the medical staff tone very welcoming, totally professional and very understanding of the pressure and nervousness most attendees are facing at that time. Most importantly, there was no suggestion of the consultations being rushed. I had XRays at the location with the results fed back to me, via my mobile, in very quick time. Not everyone wants to go the doctor…including me…but I’ll go back to this location anytime.
