Both of my children had their braces done there, and I couldn’t be happier with the results and the way we were treated throughout the entire process. I first came to Liverpool orthodontics when I was 15 years old for braces, and then had to get them again at 26 due to impacted wisdom teeth coming through and pushing everything out of alignment. During both periods, Dr. Eva Low showed me nothing but respect, and her passion for patient care is evident through each interaction. The tools, hardware, and methods used by the practice are unmatched; I hear many stories of other people frequently visiting their orthodontists due to loose brackets, broken wires, or weak adhesives used on permanent retainers, but I've never experienced these issues and neither has anyone else that I've personally referred to the clinic. I went back to have one of my retainers removed today (personal choice), and Dr. Low is absolutely still the same friendly, understanding, and caring person she was when I first met her close to 18 years ago. I have recommended Liverpool Orthodontics to many friends over the years, and will forever continue to do so. Dr Low and her team are exceptional. She takes a highly strategic and thoughtful approach to what was a complex treatment plan for me. I originally started as a patient at their Liverpool location and continued my treatment with them after they moved to Bathurst Street. Over the past three years, Dr Low and her team have consistently demonstrated genuine care and professionalism. For example, whenever I needed to reschedule, they were transparent about Dr Low’s availability and always gave me the option to see another doctor - while clearly advising that, given my complex case, it would be ideal to continue with Dr Low where possible. That level of honesty and respect for patient choice really stood out. The team never made me feel like just another appointment. It’s clear they prioritise patient outcomes and genuinely care about helping clients feel confident in their results. I always felt supported and empowered throughout my journey. After my braces were removed, she also promoted a post 1 year check in at no cost. Before committing to Dr Low, I consulted three other local orthodontists. All of them rushed through the consultation and recommended extracting at least four teeth to speed up the process. In contrast, Dr Low took a more considered approach and determined that only one extraction was necessary - and it was critical. I’ve since seen friends who went through treatment elsewhere experience issues like teeth shifting, likely due to overly aggressive extractions. Another thing I appreciated was the transparency in pricing. My initial consultation with Dr Low didn’t involve any hidden fees (at the time in 2016), whereas other clinics charged around $50 for a brief 10-minute consult. Their team's communication has also been excellent - clear, timely, and efficient via email, which has been especially helpful now that I work full-time. Even though I’ve since moved out of the area, I continue to return to Dr Low for retainers. She deserves my business - no one else does. I’ve never given a bad review before but felt urged to write one, my initial appointment for braces was booked and was looking forward to start treatment, I went in for a check and my consultant was awesome and I felt comfortable. A senior staff member started to inspect my mouth and was making unnecessary comments at the time and I started to feel uncomfortable, even the follow up phone call to send documents for the treatment the communication then again still made me feel uncomfortable, so I proceeded not to move forward with the treatment. I don’t doubt your a good practice but I hope you ensure more professionalism moving forward because I was referred to the practice due to awesome feedback and was excited for treatment.
