I chose this practice because they offer EMS Airflow and promote a gentle approach to dentistry, and they also had many positive reviews. Unfortunately, my first impression was disappointing. I arrived on time for my initial consultation, but after waiting approximately 20 minutes without being seen, my anxiety had increased to the point where I decided to leave before the appointment could begin. While waiting, I could clearly hear what appeared to be an initial consultation taking place elsewhere in the practice, which left me concerned about patient privacy. The reception screen was also showing graphic dental conditions and treatment procedures. While I understand the intention may have been to educate patients, I found it quite unsettling in a waiting room, particularly for anxious patients. Content focused on prevention and reassurance would have been more appropriate. I appreciate that reception later tried to contact me (hence a two star rating, not one), and I recognise that delays can happen. However, the combination of the wait, the privacy concerns, and the waiting room environment caused me to lose confidence in the practice, so I chose to leave before my appointment.

The whole team is super kind and gentle, and they always make me feel at ease. The clinic is really clean and has a calming atmosphere, which helps me relax right away. Dave is the ultimate professional in the Dental world. The only dentist in my lifetime of seeing dentists, who took images of my teeth and inside of my mouth then literally showed me on screen what was wrong and how he was going to fix things. It’s a much better process when you understand the situation through pictures. No BS dentistry - I love it. The whole family goes here now. Highly recommended.
The Reef dental surgery fitted me in for an emergency appointment. The staff are all very professional friendly and helpful and David took time to explain my treatment for the future and sorted my problem out for that day .
