Great experience with Hawthorn centre. From quote to procedures and everything in between, everyone was professional, friendly and caring. My case was difficult and that delayed my final two front teeth implants being placed. I required bone grafts and I was lucky Dr Michael picked up on an infection my regular dentist missed. I was always contacted the day after procedures to enquire how I was doing, and always advised of what the best treatment was. Price was cheaper than others, but the care and treatment cannot be faulted.Thank you to everyone involved in my treatment.

Value Dental Centre Hawthorn are great to deal with. I went to 4 other places before finding VDC. The consultation was thorough, they listened to my concerns and gave me options and were realistic in what was or wasn’t possible. I felt confident and comfortable with them and I knew I wanted them to do the work I needed. The entire crew are professional, warm and friendly. I’m thrilled with the results and highly recommend them.

After root canal to a back molar, I was advised to protect the tooth with a crown. I got multiple quotes, and Value Dental Centre (Melbourne) were around half the price elsewhere. It's early days, the crown was attached yesterday, so I can't comment on long term results, but at this stage, more than happy to recommend them. Dr Angela was most obliging and professional. Reception staff, including Chelsea, Ayisha and Stephanie also first rate. Some minor points. During the initial phone call, I was offered an early morning appointment. I explained I worked evenings, and was offered an afternoon consult. As it turns out, that was largely a waste of time - they mill their crowns onsite (helps to keep costs down) so I needed to come in on a second day for an early morning appointment anyway (to shape the tooth) and afternoon appointment same day, to attach the crown. If this had been explained, I would have tried to get everything done on the same day. Payment-wise, the card surcharges are posted at reception. I asked if we could try "EFTPOS cheque". This avoided the surcharge - even 1% of a four figure fee is real money. Receptionist commented - you may have found a hack. Ideally, patient, still recovering from dental work, should not have to discover the hack, staff should know. Not a criticism of reception - they are excellent, but perhaps speaks to how they are trained.
