Came here for zoom in chair teeth whitening. I called in the morning and was slotted in last minute. Poppy was excellent and had great attention to detail in making sure my gums were fully covered and not irritated by the whitening gel. Next time I'm going to ask to be on the upper levels since the photos look pretty cool
I had a whitening appointment today. The day didn't go to plan and I ended up being ten minutes late. The reception staff told me I had missed my appointment and had to reschedule it and forfeit my $100 deposit. Completely fair and 100% my fault. Everyone's time is valuable. Except, my original appointment was cancelled by the clinic on the morning of the appointment, throwing off my weekend plans and making me free up another Saturday for this. So I thought some accommodation would be in order today as patients' time is equally valuable. But they didn't see it that way evidently.
My experience was amazing. I cannot express how helpful the team were. I live in remote Tassie and needed a splint. I took the most of a trip I did to Melbourne and had an appointment to get it done as there are no dentists that provide that service in my town. The customer service was outstanding from the very first interaction. They found the perfect slot to see me and once the splint was made they sent it to my home in Tassie. I had my consultation with Dr. Natasha Hremias and she was also very warm and understanding.
Dr. Miranda Hojok is highly skilled, patient, and genuinely empathetic. She takes the time to listen carefully and explains everything clearly, working closely with you to ensure that your treatment is tailored to your needs. Every visit has been a positive experience. She is an amazing dentist, and I’m extremely satisfied with the quality of her work!
I’ve been coming to Smile Solutions since maybe 2009 when I was forced as my back tooth filling fell out. I was always terrified of the dentist but I saw Madeline Hoopman and still see her to this day. She was so gentle and understanding and got me over my fear of the dentist to the point where I love getting a checkup or clean now. And the building, oh my, it’s stunning. Aside from some splits, the dental equipment and computers, the building itself is still all original and so beautiful. Won’t lie, this is an expensive clinic, but I’ll say it’s worth every cent knowing you’re being genuinely cared for and getting the best treatments available as they are always upgrading their dental technology to stay current and they’ll do anything to ensure your comfort.

Bulk billing dental services are limited in the Melbourne CBD due to high commercial rents. Most practices are private-fee, though many offer gap-free check-up packages through Bupa, Medibank, and HCF that effectively bulk bill the check-up component. The Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne on Swanston Street in adjacent Carlton is the main public dental provider for eligible patients including children, concession card holders, and DVA card holders.
