Ok. So I am not a nervous candidate. I am utterly terrified, such that I have delayed this extraction by FIVE YEARS. But with a trip upcoming and its vulnerability, I booked in. Given other dentists told me the risks with such a complex extraction, I asked for THE BEST. They booked me with Damien. Well, he is a man of few words. But the few he spoke mattered and he was utterly comforting and personable. He was, throughout, reassuring. He kept checking the level and topping up anaesthetic to assure against pain (unbeknownst to me, I had a raging infection, which does tend to compete with anaesthesia). He was, as he said he would be, gentle and slow. I was amazed when he said 'it's out' to both twisted roots. It was not within the extraction price range suggested by Google AI and slightly exceeded the estimate, but everyone I have told in the hours since, through my gauze dressing, says it's damn good value given dental pricing in Australia. This was a complex extraction one dentist even told me required a hospital admission. The bonus is that Damien is an expert in implants and thus could give a decent appraisal of candidacy after healing, where other dentists had no idea. I have previously had amazing experiences with Dr Rogelberg and this clinic, but this was the true test. Thankfully he didn't tell me til the end that it is the worst I would encounter of any procedure (I may have cut and run), but if that is the worst, I very much look forward to further treatments from Damien Park. Shout out to the amazing experience with all staff in the office and also in the lead up. Hope City Smiles is my forever dentist! :)
I had a great experience at CitySmile. First, I was impressed by Olga, who was very kind and professional. Later, my root canal treatment was done by Cecilia. She is extremely friendly, highly skilled, and clearly knows what she is doing. My roots were very deep, but she treated everything thoroughly and carefully. She also gave me important advice and explained every step. I truly appreciate the quality of care I received and highly recommend this clinic.
I have visited more than five dental clinics in Melbourne, and this was my second time visit here. My previous visit was quite good, but this time I visit Vadim Rogelberg for Dental check and clean. The procedure was extremely rough, and the entire appointment from the moment I walked in to when it ended took only about five minutes. I felt I was not treated seriously . So bad service
Excellent clinic and my dentist for some years, Damien Park, is superb and has never hurt me ... he is the epitome of dentistry. Damien is complemented by an excellent front office and Trish is helpful, knowledgeable and better still she saved me a heap of money when she found out why my Bupa card wasn't working. I commend this practice to anyone looking for dentistry work for anything from a basic clean to a complicated implant.
Snapped a front tooth crown which couldn't be replaced. City smiles did a terrific peridental job creating a front tooth bridge which looked far better than the original and the price was truly reasonable. The whole process - which was complicated and took some time - was calm, well organised and efficient. I was incredibly impressed. I would not hesitate to go back and will be recommending City Smiles to others.
