It doesn’t matter which dentist or staff member I see—every single person here is kind, courteous, and genuinely invested in patient comfort. *Supportive with Needle Anxiety* I’m generally fine with dental work, but I don’t do well with needles. The team has always accommodated this with so much compassion. They make thoughtful, practical adjustments that genuinely help, and they always talk me through everything beforehand so nothing comes as a shock during what is already a stressful part of treatment. That level of care makes a huge difference. *Complex Treatment Handled With Clarity & Care* In 2025 I had a substantial amount of dental work done (completed by Dr. Prerna Narang, shown in the photo), including two procedures under general anaesthesia. Throughout the entire process, the dentists took the time to explain treatment plans in detail, outline all available options, and give me real agency in deciding what course to take. Their professionalism is matched by a warm, welcoming manner that makes even the big appointments feel manageable. *Admin Staff Special Mention* The reception and administration staff deserve their own special mention. They are consistently patient, helpful, and incredibly accommodating. I originally chose this clinic because it was close to where I lived at the time, but I now live in Geelong—about an hour and twenty minutes away—and I still drive up for every check-up and clean. They’re that good. The admin team knows I travel this distance and always works with me to find appointment times that fit my schedule. I’ve never once been made to feel like an inconvenience. *Staff Retention - A Team That Stays* One thing that has always stood out to me is their staff retention. I’ve been seeing the same few dentists (each with their own specialties) since the beginning, and many of the admin staff have been there just as long. That kind of stability says a lot about how well the clinic treats its team. *Modern, Comfortable & Well-Equipped* The clinic itself is modern, comfortable, and equipped with what appears to be the latest technology. They take comprehensive imaging, including full-mouth scans, which helps track changes over time and gives a really clear picture of overall dental health. *Top-Notch Communication* Their communication is excellent too—whether in person, over the phone, via email, or through their online booking and messaging options. *Worth Every Dollar* Price-wise, they’re not the cheapest, but the quality of care is absolutely worth it. I always leave feeling well looked after, informed, and confident in the treatment I’ve received. *On A Lighter Note* Their lip balms are genuinely the best, and the little freebies bag after appointments—whether it’s a routine clean or something more involved—is such a thoughtful touch. (P.S. The Cherry Apple lip balm has been my favourite so far) *13/10 - Highly Recommended* I couldn’t recommend this clinic more highly. They’ve earned my trust over nearly a decade, and I’m grateful for the exceptional care they continue to provide. Google Reviews doesn't let me give them the extra stars they deserve.

I have been very happy with my dental practice of past 7 years but being 80 years old, retired through injury, and with a younger wife who still works I don't receive a pension and have no income. I have held Bupa hospital and extras cover for 30 plus years, but finding the out of pocket payments from Bupa at non-preferred dentists has been such a struggle and a worry. Each check up and clean has cost me around $250 out of pocket, plus X rays and other investigations. I have been on osteoporotic medicines for severe osteoporosis with six non traumatic spinal fractures resulting in a loss of height of 10cm. My teeth haven't been spared the osteoporotic side effects and so I have bone loss resulting in loose teeth and also additional gum disease. I finally bit the bullet metaphorically and took advantage of the Bupa twice yearly check up and clean at preferred dental practices resulting in no gap payment. I had held off because I felt it was too good to be true and any service would be a tick and flick perfunctory one that would be unsatisfactory and even for my damaged mouth, potentially dangerous. How wrong I was. I saw Dental hygienist Victoria with Annabel assisting. Both therapists put me at ease immediately. Victoria is qualified and very experienced. Her history taking was impeccable and very thorough as was her physical exam of face, jaw, and neck. She noted two marks on my lip which she asked me to check with my GP. There was no sense of rush and my comfort was paramount. The procedures were exemplary and I was so well looked after. A peridontic analysis was performed with my permission as there would be a small out of pocket gap, however this was waived at reception on Victoria's recommendation. The reception staff were friendly and efficient. The clinic is light and airy and welcoming. Car parking is easy and plentiful. The clinic is well signed. Highly recommend Heathy Smiles Dental Group, and if like me you were wary of what level of service you might receive under the Bupa no gap 2 x yearly check up and clean offer, it really is just that. I will return, and next visit an additional 15 minute appointment has been added with a senior dentist to review X rays and advise on problem teeth.

I've had nothing but super positive experiences at Healthy Smiles. The practice feels new, modern, and clean, with trappings to make your visit more comfortable. The team at Healthy Smiles is amazing - Dr Allister Yan is incredibly efficient, and each appointment has been a good mix of being informative whilst not prolonging the visit for more than they need to be (being someone who doesn't usually enjoy trips to the dentist, I value this!). The team of hygienists are also great at what they do, and they're overall supported by a really professional and friendly customer service team who does a great job with follow ups, and making you feel comfortable and welcome. They really do provide a wonderful end-to-end experience, and I would highly recommend anyone who's looking next-level dental care to pay them a visit.

I had a fantastic experience at Healthy Smiles Blackburn. Dr Prerna and Ravi were incredibly kind and gentle throughout my visit. As someone who experiences dental anxiety, I truly appreciated how they went above and beyond to make me feel at ease. Dr Prerna carried out a very thorough examination and explained the condition of each tooth in clear, detailed terms, without any pressure to proceed with treatment. I’ve never received this level of care or explanation before, and I will definitely be returning for all my ongoing dental care. I will be recommending to friends and family!

Dimitri has been amazing with Xavier from day one. He explains everything in a way kids understand, is so gentle and patient, and always makes the experience positive. Xavier loves going to the dentist because of him. Highly recommend!
