The entire team here is warm and friendly. After my first visit (check-up & discussion about fixing an onlay done very poorly by a previous dentist) I left and told my partner that it's as though everyone who works there, actually wants to be there. The smiles are genuine and so is the care. I don't say this lightly. My previous dental clinic (that looked all fancy) shattered my trust in dentists. When I told the dentist that I still felt pain when he was drilling, he questioned me as though I was imagining it. I was left with an onlay that felt like a brick in my mouth for 3 years. There was no care or acknowledgement that it was the wrong fit and should be remade. After my first visit with Mermaid smiles, I felt I was in safe hands with Dr. Charleston and entrusted her to remove the previous onlay and fix it for me. This had always been a problematic tooth for me and left very sensitive after anyone worked on it. Not only did she fix the onlay perfectly, my tooth was not even sensitive in the slightest. Her attention to detail is next level and I am so appreciative of the care she showed to make this right for me. Thank you to the entire team for providing quality of service and a calm space.

Her skill and ability is second to none, performing a complex filling with great finesse and shows great awareness to patient comfort, (so much so that I could nearly dose off). The best dentist on the Gold Coast! 10/10 service from the moment you walk inside. The girls are so delightful, If you are afraid of going to the dentist then this is where you need to go! Mermaid Smiles was recommended to me after I was told I needed 2 back crowns. I’m 75 and have never in my life had a good experience at the many dentists I have attended over the years. I have a severe gag reflex, which only increases my anxiety. From the moment I walked through the door I was made welcome and comfortable. Dr. Grace examined me and gave me options, and after conferring with Dr. Anna, I was given a plan to have my treatment with "happy gas" and acupuncture……it was all done in a few hours, with absolutely no pain, and the empathy and care given by Dr. Anna and the lovely assistant Ruby was second to none. Every step was explained carefully and I can honestly say I walked out of this delightful practice with a renewed faith in dentists. Thank you to the lovely Mermaid Smiles team.
