Firstly, I want to say that I love my orthodontist Dr Seerone. The outcome of my smile is 5 stars and he addressed every problem I had. However, I’m giving my overall experience 3 stars based on an experience I had with one of my past appointments. As apart of my treatment, I was receiving a teeth whitening. Initially it was explained well, apply the gel to your retainers, wait 30mins in the waiting room and then come back and brush your teeth. Simple! So the timer runs out and it’s time to brush my teeth. No one is coming out to me and it seems like I’m the only patient there so I go up to the receptionist to just alert them that I need to brush my teeth and if I could go to the basin in the clinic rooms to do so. She gets the attention of the orthodontist assistant I initially saw. She then points to the basin and tell me to brush my teeth and disappears. So I do for 2 mins as normal, I then look around waiting for her to come back, she never did. Instead I could hear all the assistants talking about their next big TikTok ideas. After waiting, I assumed that that was the appointment over and I left. I said goodbye to the receptionist and just walked out. I then drove home thinking, what a weird experience that was. There was no follow-up, no post checks to see if the whitening was causing any harm. If you would like to see this TikTok idea, the video was posted 5 days ago, filmed after I left, exactly where I would of been brushing my teeth and lowkey avoided for the remainder of my appointment. Priorities I guess 💁♀️
