Personal Dental Care - Dentist in Modbury

I'd definitely rate this clinic 5 stars and I've been going there for over ten years. When I started going there, I had high anxiety and was terrified of needles. I still don't like them but, thanks to the laughing gas, and the fact that both dentists understand my gag reflex problem and have such a great sense of humour, any processes I've needed to undergo (and I've needed to have quite a few, since my teeth keep cracking) have become no problem at all — perhaps a bit uncomfortable, but that's expected. I can't praise Dr. Gordha and Dr. Lee enough for their care of me over the years; and the nursing staff, present and past, who have been so supportive in making visits so enjoyable.

I had a very disappointing appointment with Dr Welyn Gordo. My dental concerns weren’t addressed, and the whole appointment felt rushed (which ended up being a 15-min appointment only). She also told me off and implied I was lying when I mentioned she didn’t show me how to use the floss threader in my previous appointment. The whole time I felt so uncomfortable and humiliated, which is something that no patient should ever go through. Dental clinics should be a safe space but unfortunately Dr Gordo did not provide that. Sadly, I won’t be back again.

Went there with a chipped tooth, i ended up with spending 10,000 dollars on crowns being put on my front teeth, and other dentist work, the chipped tooth was extracted after it became sore a few weeks later, the crowns that put on looked good until one of them came off twice in 6 months, charging me 500 dollars each time to have it put back on, the crown fell out again a couple of months of having it fixed and an emergency dentist put it back on and it has been fine and charged me less to put it back on, i get my teeth were in a pretty bad shape but they werent falling out, im soo scared of the dentists and this episode has made me worse

Dr Welyn Gordo has been looking after our family for almost 10years now and there is no one better I /we trust with the family’s oral health care. She is thorough, gentle, and highly skilled dentist.
