I recently had an appointment with Dr Justin Halliday at Pacific Smiles Dental in the Sydney CBD, and I couldn’t recommend him more highly. I hadn’t been to the dentist in over five years due to anxiety from past bad experiences. From the moment I arrived, Justin was incredibly understanding and considerate of my previous experiences. Throughout the appointment Justin communicated clearly about what he was doing and why which made a huge difference in helping me feel comfortable. He also regularly checked in to make sure I wasn’t experiencing any pain which I really appreciated. It was the most positive dental experience I’ve had. If you’re someone who feels anxious about visiting the dentist, I would strongly recommend seeing Justin.

I am giving 5 stars to Dr Zena Safa for her very high degree of empathy, understanding and professionalism. She is not only good at what she does, but more importantly she puts people at ease and solves the problem. I highly recommend her service. Treating people with a genuine compassion is more valuable, so I really appreciate how you work. 🙏🙏🙏

My wife and I have been Pacific Dental Town Hall (formerly AHM Dental) for many years. After our female dentist retired, we have been referred to Dr. Michael Tran for dental consultation and treatment. Dr. Tran is a very dedicated , caring Professional. He is very good in his skills and always giving goog dental advice to us to improve our oral hygiene. He always put patients first, and takes time to explain to us about our dental problem and ways to tackle them. I have recommended him to my relatives and friends to see him for their dental consultations and treatments. Thank you , Dr.Tren.

I go here twice a year for the usual routine checkup. Never had a problem with any of the dentists professionalism or bedside manner. I did go in for a cavity fill that ended up needing to be tweaked a little, which the dentist corrected for free. Mistakes happen I guess- I would still return either way. Pacific smiles has a network of dentists who perform wisdom teeth removal under twilight anesthesia. They referred me to one & my wisdom teeth removal went off without a hitch, so that was nice too. Overall its a fine place to have checkups and minor procedures done.

Bulk Billing & Costs in Sydney CBD

Bulk billing dental clinics are limited in the Sydney CBD due to high commercial rents, but several practices offer gap-free check-ups and cleans for patients with eligible private health insurance through Bupa, Medibank, and HCF. The Sydney Dental Hospital on Chalmers Street in Surry Hills (a 15-minute walk from Central station) is the nearest public dental provider for eligible patients including concession card holders, DVA card holders, and children under the CDBS.
