I had an outstanding experience with Mr Patel and the entire dental team. From the moment I walked in, the staff were welcoming, professional, and made me feel completely at ease. Mr Patel is an exceptional dentist — highly skilled, gentle, and incredibly thorough in explaining each step of the treatment. He genuinely cares about his patients and takes the time to ensure comfort and confidence throughout the process. The clinic is clean, well-organised, and runs very efficiently. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly, respectful, and attentive, which made the whole experience stress-free. I truly appreciate the level of care and professionalism shown. I highly recommend this place.
Mahima at Dental 99 Bondi Junction has been amazing. She did an excellent job with my 5 fillings and 2 stage periodontal clean. The dentist makes me anxious sometimes.. but I feel like I am in safe and trusted hands at Dental 99.
I had a very disappointing experience at this clinic. A few months ago, I had a filling done by 99 Dental at a different clinic, and the same tooth became sensitive again after just two weeks. When I booked this appointment for another filling, I first asked them to check this sensitive tooth, as I suspected it might need further treatment. The appointment was scheduled for 30 minutes, but I left almost 10–15 minutes early because nothing was being resolved. They spent a long time trying to identify the issue, and even after taking an X-ray, they kept asking me to point out exactly where the pain was. Despite the time spent, there was no clear explanation or diagnosis. Eventually, they suggested a root canal, but the way this conclusion was reached did not inspire any confidence. The overall process felt unclear and unprofessional. In addition, the clinic itself felt very poorly ventilated, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. After all this, I was told I would need to pay another $99 if I wanted them to proceed with filling the other tooth, as a “consultation” had already taken place. This felt unreasonable, especially considering that they could not clearly explain the condition of a tooth that had already been filled by the same company for a similar fee. Later, they offered to refund $50 out of the $149 I had previously paid for the earlier filling. While this was noted, it did not change the overall experience and did not address the unresolved sensitivity or the lack of a clear diagnosis. I took time off work, paid the fees, and left early without a solution. Now I need to find another dentist, pay again, and take more time off work — while continuing to live with ongoing discomfort. Overall, a very frustrating and unpleasant experience. I will not be returning.
Outstanding experience from start to finish. The appointment ran exactly on time, no waiting around, no hassle and straight to the point. Dr. Amy Weir was exceptional. She handled a tricky back tooth extraction with skill and care, and her calm, reassuring bedside manner put me at ease. I felt completely comfortable in her hands. Highly recommend!!
I have had my faith restored in dentist after seeing Dr Tejus Patel! I cannot recommend him enough. I had my wisdom teeth removed with great success and following filling, again with no issue. Both visits he has taken time and care to reassure me. We now made a detailed plan moving forward. Very well looked after ⭐️

Bulk billing dental clinics are limited in the Sydney CBD due to high commercial rents, but several practices offer gap-free check-ups and cleans for patients with eligible private health insurance. The Sydney Dental Hospital on Chalmers Street in Surry Hills is the nearest public dental provider for eligible patients including concession card holders.
