I had to come here for an emergency filler repair and stumbled on one of the best dentist i have ever had. His name is Yusuf Seedat. A Very calming and friendly dentist who did an amazing job on my tooth. Recommend this dental practise to everyone that needs an excellent service and well taken care of teeth.

Dr Yusuf Seedat was very thorough with his care and generous with his time- he answered my many questions and taught me valuable tricks with my pickster technique and now I no longer have tartare build up around my retainer wire. Thanks Yusuf!

A very pleasant experience with Dr Karen Whiting. Made me feel super comfortable and talked through everything with so much care and knowledge.

Dr Iden Mahmood is an incredible dentist! So lucky for his attentiveness in catching the early signs of gum disease as it was still preventable. He took great care in scheduling me in for additional screening and at no extra cost. Also did a fantastic job at fixing my partners teeth. Very thankful to have such a good dentist around when living in Newtown, can’t recommend him enough!

As a first time customer and international student (on Bupa’s Health Insurance), I wanted to get a consultation. The receptionists were helpful but the dentist (Dr Ahmed) was quite hostile when I explained about limited budget to cover a mouth guard (which would be $600) for nocturnal bruxism (teeth grinding). And was not helpful in suggesting any alternatives strategies and told me that it was not his job to talk about stress. As a healthcare professional I would have appreciated a little bit more empathy. I also only found out that my insurance does not cover the teeth clean (which I should have doubled checked but would have been $300 out of pocket) so my advice would be to check about your insurance cover before going in and DOUBLE CHECK about the specific dentist you pick.

Bulk Billing & Costs in Sydney CBD

Bulk billing dental clinics are limited in the Sydney CBD due to high commercial rents, but several practices offer gap-free check-ups and cleans for patients with eligible private health insurance through Bupa, Medibank, and HCF. The Sydney Dental Hospital on Chalmers Street in Surry Hills (a 15-minute walk from Central station) is the nearest public dental provider for eligible patients including concession card holders, DVA card holders, and children under the CDBS.
