Had a lovely experience here this morning from start to finish. I arrived a little late due to train cancellations, but the team didn’t mind at all and got me in quickly. I was there for a mouthguard consultation, and both Pallavi and the dental nurse were attentive, knowledgeable, and warm natured (the receptionist was also very friendly). They gave really clear explanations, answered all my questions, and never made me feel pressured into any particular option. I left feeling informed and supported, with a clear understanding of my choices and what was covered. The environment was also very clean and fresh, which made the whole experience even more comfortable. They also referred me to an equally friendly local orthodontic practice, who were able to get me in the same day for a free consultation to continue the exploration of the root dental cause (bite misalignment) issue I am facing. I'll be back :)
Dr Hayley James was extremely thorough and explained everything clearly and in great detail, which immediately put me at ease. I have a complex medical history that has made me particularly apprehensive about dental work, and Dr James reassured me straight away. She carefully explained the next steps and the reasoning behind her decisions, which helped me feel informed and safe throughout the appointment. I would especially recommend Dr James to anyone with dental anxiety due to her thoughtful and compassionate approach.
Avoid ! Horrible receptionist I had an extremely disappointing experience at this dental practice (Bupa dental Martin place) today and I ended up walking out before my appointment even began. From the moment I arrived, the receptionist’s behavior was completely unprofessional. I was only about seven minutes late, yet I received multiple calls that felt more harassing than helpful even though I had made every attempt to call them to notify of the delay. When I finally walked in, instead of being greeted or spoken to respectfully, the receptionist immediately demanded my insurance card without any explanation. Before I could even ask why she needed it, she yelled at me to sit down and complete a form. There was no courtesy, no clarification, and absolutely no sense of customer service. The entire interaction felt rude and demeaning. At that point, I no longer felt comfortable or confident that I would receive quality care from a practice whose front-line staff treated patients this way. I decided to cancel my appointment and leave. In my opinion, this was truly unacceptable behavior, and it left me with a very negative impression of this place and feeling very stressed. O and the clinical staff came out and showed no concern as it why I had decided to cancel . Go figure ! I hope the owner of this practice takes on this feedback and considers hiring staff that are willing to promote and not destroy their business.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Hayley James for about three years now and honestly couldn’t recommend her enough. When I first moved to Australia, I had so many dental issues and was really worried about finding the right dentist. Hayley was amazing from day one and helped fix every single problem one by one with so much care and attention. She’s gentle, professional, and always makes you feel comfortable during every visit. My teeth have never been healthier, and I actually look forward to my appointments now. Highly recommend!
Dr. Revon Moshi removed my wisdom tooth in the gentlest way possible. His assistant was wonderful and had a great sense of humour, which made the whole experience even better. I’m extremely happy with the care I received and will definitely be returning for my regular check-ups 💙
