Dr Ash is just the loveliest. Had 3 of my wisdom teeth removed in under 3 minutes, completely painfree, and he was so reassuring and kind the whole time, I felt so well looked after!
Not only did I have a terrible experience - the dentist was rude, during the X-rays it was so painful I couldn’t bite down properly. She openly spoke to her dental nurse how we had to do it again because ‘she’ meaning me didn’t do it properly. There was no care to make sure I was comfortable and was very pushy to upsell. They are now refusing to refund the deposit I paid for my partners appointment (we booked at the time same time). They take deposits to hold on file for your ‘next appointment’ but good luck getting it back. He cancelled his appointment well within their cancellation policy and I’m still waiting for a refund months later. After my bad experience and receiving a very overpriced treatment plan we didn’t want to continue. Terrible customer service all round. I never understood why some people don’t like going to the dentist but after this experience makes me realise why!! Awful, avoid at all costs.
Our whole family have been patients at AboutSmiles Zetland for several years, even after moving to another suburb. Both Dr Ash and Dr Cindy have been excellent in making our kids feel comfortable at the dentist, supporting me through a wisdom tooth extraction, identifying my daughters need for retainers at the right time and assisting my husband with a complex crown replacement. Their reception staff are always helpful with reminding us about appointments and supporting changes when we need them. I highly recommend their professional and friendly dental services.
Been seeing Dr. Ash here for around 3 years and all the five star reviews don't lie. He is without a doubt the best dentist I've ever had. His expertise and attention to detail are second to none not to mention the rest of the team who are all highly professional and great at what they do. He's really skilled at explaining exactly whats going to happen on the day and why, and breaking it all down so it's easily understandable. You always feel like you are in good hands with him and the team.
Very impressed with Dr Ash very caring and supportive during process of tooth removal kept me fully informed and highly recommend for any dental work
