I couldn’t recommend Dr Mahony and his team more! 👍 Seti, his practice manager has been very helpful and super friendly with the kids. They are happy to answer all my questions and give recommendations to help with overall health and that’s exactly why I enjoy seeing them. Can’t wait to see the final results for my kids!
I had a disappointing experience with Dr. Derek Mahony’s clinic and would encourage others to carefully evaluate their options before proceeding. We were initially asked to attend a consultation, and then scheduled for a second visit where we were provided with the treatment cost estimate. For this appointment, we were charged around $250, even though the information could potentially have been communicated via email or discussed during the first visit. This made the process feel unnecessarily expensive. After seeking a second opinion, we received a quote that was approximately 57% lower for a similar treatment plan, which raised concerns for us about the pricing transparency. When it comes to your children’s healthcare, emotions can understandably influence decisions. I strongly recommend getting at least one second opinion before committing to any major treatment plan so you can make a fully informed choice. I have retained all receipts and documentation from my visits and am happy to share further details with anyone who wants to better understand my experience.
Dr. Mahoney’s orthodontic practice is excellent. Under their care, one of our family members now has beautifully realigned teeth. Today, after consulting with Seti Soltani, who walked us through the process, another family member will start on this journey. Highly recommend.
The service has been amazing experience. Staff were lovely, Sarah was very patient and lovely with whole treatment and Dr. Derek Mohany has been reviewing all minute details throughout the treatment and had been amazing in explaining everything in detail and assuring with the questions we had and with the treatment.
Do consider other other practices before locking into this practice. Once they lock you into their payment plan and contracts, they are very difficult to deal with. Experience with their specialist doctor is not good. Many times the child has been in pain and had to go back because the braces etc were not done properly. Also if you ever need to change an appointment, then they say the next available slot is after 1.5-2 months!!
