Smile Design Orthodontics

This Orthodontist has been great for 3 of our children. However...lately wait times have been drastically increasing often in excess of an hour sitting in a waiting room. Staff do not inform you of how long your estimated wait is, they do not call you to let you know the service is running late and offer an estimated time. This has happened at both Hurstville and Miranda to our family on numerous occasions. I believe they need to incorporate a call service to inform patients to delay their arrival or at least inform patients when they arrive that there is a lengthy delay.

I received braces a few years ago and was treated by Chrys Antoniou, who is a highly professional, kind, skilled orthodontist. I am beyond grateful that I chose to receive braces at Smile Design. My teeth were extremely crooked and I needed a complex procedure as there was little to no space for my teeth to shift (I required extracting four teeth to make space). In addition, I had asymmetrical teeth (especially my incisors) and an awkward bite. My teeth now look wonderful after braces and I have never felt this confident with my smile!

The whole team is very kind and professional except for Belinda, the lady at the front desk. She's rude and cold and gets annoyed if English is your second language. I never feel excepted when she's there please do something about this.

Getting braces is the best investment I have ever made. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. And, even after a year of having my braces off, I was able to go back and have them looked after again with no fuss :) Lovely views while in your chair, too!

After reading some of the Google reviews I was nervous about attending. But my experience was that the staff were polite and friendly, and we were seen on time. Dr Dinnen was professional and even recommended waiting for braces when my son was older. Not just interested in making a profit, but performing a high standard of care. Would definitely recommend.
