Avadent Dental Centre - Dentist in Cannington

My partner has been coming here to see Jeffrey for many, many years and will come no matter where we move to and no matter how far the drive. I was coming for a while myself years back but left to see other dentists closer to home and wish I hadn’t as I did have a couple of bad experiences elsewhere. I ended up coming back to see Jeffrey last year after another dentist did a filling that left me in quite a bit of pain. I went back for it to be fixed and they suggested a root canal which didn’t feel right so I came back here for a second opinion. Jeffrey immediately identified and fixed the simple issue and resolved the pain with a slight bite adjustment which saved me a tooth and a whole lot of money. Now he is my regular again and well worth the drive. We have both seen multiple dentists here over the years and they have all been fantastic. Jeffrey especially is so knowledgeable and such a down to earth, easy to chat to guy. I don’t have dentist anxiety myself but I feel for anyone who does, Jeffrey would be a great choice as he knows how to help you relax, is highly respectful and is knowledgeable enough to reassure you about any concerns or tackle them head on confidently if they do need intervention. The reception staff are also always ridiculously lovely and the overall vibe in the clinic is warm, welcoming and fun. Couldn’t make a single suggestion for improvements as they are already at 10/10 standard.

Great team at Avadent Dental. I had been seeing Dr Darren Chai since I was a child and now been seeing the team at Avadent for probably 8+ years. Tessa and Navila were amazing when it came time for me to get Invisalign. The whole process was so easy with them and they were so supportive throughout the 18 month journey. I love how my teeth look now and so glad I did it. Now I really enjoy my dental checkups especially with my hygienist Navila. She is the most bubbly positive person I have ever met. It's always a pleasure seeing her.

Avadent is my go to place for dental work. Been coming here for over a decade. Kevin and Geoff are True professionals and dont push any unnecessary work on you.

Did not have a pleasant experience. I went for a check up as I am terrified of the dentist and hadn’t been in a while. Had been told I needed a filling done. I had booked an appointment and got it done. During it, my mouth didn’t numb properly but she went through with it anyways. A few days after, my mouth was still sore and I wasn’t able to eat on that side. I went back to the same lady who had said the pain should go away and grinded my tooth down as the filling was too high. A few days went by and I was still unable to eat on that side. I went back and saw a different lady who had told me it had been done wrong and I was needing to get it done again. I booked the appointment then received a call from my original lady, saying that I did not need to get it done again. I was over the run around and went to a different place to get a second opinion. I was told I did need to get it done. I ended up paying for two filling on the same tooth and we all know that’s not cheap. I will not be going to this dentist again.

Very gentle and accounting. Offer good discounts without much put off pocket. Depending on your private health coverage. I normally have 2 free cleaning in a year, any extras check up. Normally, not more than $50. My whole family have been with them for over 10 years, i have to says, all dentists are fantastic, not just 1. The only problem is hard to get in sometime. Book ahead you will be all right..highly recommend
