Sometimes words on a Google review, just don’t cut it, but I can’t express my gratitude to the passionate dedication of the new management at this dental clinic!!!! From the very first check up and clean, right through to my pending alignment treatments the group here does not miss a beat when it comes to making sure you understand every detail and every concern and every possible Avenue of your dental journey! I seriously couldn’t recommend this clinic enough from the moment you walk in your greeted with a friendly smile and hello write through the whole process the team make sure you understand everything happening, and I looked after. The new management looking after the clinic I run by a team of professionals who are genuinely passionate about this industry so you know you were getting your moneys worth that way you can really tell they are loving what they do from start to finish!!! couldn’t be more thankful and wish this clinic and the management. Had a really good experience with the Dr. Cheung. He was extremely gentle and kept walking me through the entire process of my root canal. He was very experienced. The front staff(dint catch her name) at the practice were quite friendly and very efficient. The place was clean and tidy. Highly recommended if you have dentophobia. Cannot be thankful enough for finally not having to deal with toothache.
I am petrified of dentists. I have had some horrible experiences with some. Some judgemental, some less caring etc. I grew up with a horrible experience as a child with dentists. Which has caused me to avoid seeing dentists. So much that it has risked my own health, career opportunities, and self esteem. I finally had the courage to go to the dentist. It was very nerve wracking at the start but Dr Stan and the Nurse were very patient with me and helped me get through it. Still a bit of work to go but. I hope to return to a half decent smile soon enough. Thankyou.

I initially booked an appointment for Monday last Saturday, but was told the clinic couldn’t slot me in that day as the Dr stated that the clinic was close, and the earliest available appointment was Tuesday at 12:00 pm, which I accepted and appreciated. I want to start by thanking you for doing your best to fit me in. At the time I booked, my pain was tolerable, though I had mentioned swelling and aching in my left cheek. There wasn’t a high level of concern from the clinicians during that time, so I agreed to wait. However, early this morning around 4 am, I could not sleep. I woke up in severe pain. Panadol and ibuprofen had very little effect, I had difficulty opening my mouth, my left cheek swelling had worsened significantly, and my glands were swollen. Out of desperation, I began calling other dental clinics to see who could fit me in urgently early as possible. Thankfully, I was able to secure an urgent appointment with a different clinic, where I was treated promptly and with far more compassion. As a courtesy, I called Seaford Dental Group to ask whether I could cancel or reschedule. I spoke gently and calmly, I did not raise my voice or speak aggressively at any point. Despite this, I was repeatedly told, “You’re being unfair. This is unfair, you cannot do this ….,” and reminded that the entire day had been reserved for me. I explained that I was willing to pay a cancellation fee or even cancel the other clinic if Seaford Dental could see me earlier, but instead, I was made to feel as though I was doing something wrong or unreasonable. I was already in a distressed state due to the pain, and this response only added to my discomfort. There is a professional and empathetic way to speak to patients, especially when they are clearly unwell and seeking help. I became too upset to continue the conversation and to ask my husband to speak on my behalf. Even after the appointment was cancelled, a slightly earlier time was offered, but after that interaction, I no longer felt comfortable attending. The way I was treated by the receptionist made me feel unwelcome and dismissed. I proceeded with the other clinic, where I received much better treatment and support from the very beginning. While I trust the clinicians at your practice are skilled, the patient experience starts at your front desk, and unfortunately, the lack of empathy and professionalism I experienced means I will not return or recommend this clinic in future. I hope you take this feedback seriously. Patients deserve to be treated with understanding and respect, especially when they are in pain and reaching out for care
