I went today using an Emergency Dental Voucher, and I had one of the best healthcare experiences of my life. I’m autistic, neurodivergent, and have trauma from past medical and dental experiences. I walked in prepared for the worst. Instead, I was treated with more care, gentleness, respect, and compassion than I ever expected — and honestly more than I thought was possible in a dental setting. 🦷 Dr Shantelle Mazai is extraordinary. Warm, approachable, emotionally intelligent, incredibly skilled, and deeply empathetic. When she gave me the local anaesthetic, I didn’t even feel the needle. Not the jab. Not the pressure. Barely even the sting. That level of gentleness and technical skill is rare. That level of compassion — choosing to learn what procedures feel like so she can treat patients better — is priceless. She even postponed her lunch break to make sure she could see me urgently. She talked me through everything, made sure I felt safe and informed, and ensured the treatment she chose would completely fit within the Emergency Dental Voucher so I wouldn’t have to pay extra. 💛 The reception staff deserve huge praise too. They were incredibly kind, understanding, and welcoming from the moment I walked in. They’re the ones who explained: that Tooth Heaven offers payment plans (so even if you don’t have a voucher, you can pay treatments off over time), that I could go to a community dental clinic like CoHealth to request a General Dental Voucher, and that with that voucher, I could return here for future treatment at low or no cost depending on my circumstances. They were warm, patient, and genuinely human — which matters deeply when you’re ND or anxious. 🌈 If you’re trauma-affected, autistic, sensory-sensitive, or someone who needs gentle, respectful dental care: please come here. This entire clinic is built on kindness, patience, communication, and safety. The staff are exactly the kind of people you want caring for you — people with integrity who treat you like a human being, not a problem. This is the first time in years I’ve walked out of a dentist feeling happy instead of dissociated or overwhelmed. Dr Jeff is the best dentist I've ever had in my whole life - he was very attentive, knowledgeable and comprehensive. I loved his PowerPoint on treatment options. The practice itself was very innovative, clean, cute (with little crochet teeth) and welcoming with modern technology. Will definitely be going back and want to make Dr Jeff my regular dentist.

I had an emergency dental situation. Within an hour of calling 3 days before Xmas I was sitting in the chair. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough. The care and work performed was outstanding.
