Had my son's oral ties done at this clinic. The experience was pretty awful mainly due to the staff's approach. My husband originally mad ethe appointment and mentioned that the admin staff were quite rude over the phone, blunt and unhelpful unless prompted. We filled in all the paperwork prior to the appointment as suggested but in the appointment they just ask you all the questions anyway so it was completely unnecessary. The lactation consultant that helped with the appointment was very judgemental and rude. She mad it very clear that she thought the treatments I had been getting prior for bubs were wrong but also gave me no help or direction at all when she saw him trying to latch (breastfed). I was already feeling emotional; long 2 hr drive, early in the morning after a night with a newborn, and potential procedure, but luckily bubs had no weight issues. My sister came with me and if she hadn't I probably would have been in tears. I can't imagine how her approach would affect a new parent especially if there were weight issues. Just absolutely no compassion or understanding of situation. We had Dr Alex do the procedure and she was fine, very thorough with information etc, but again told me that the prior treatment we had been getting was wrong. (We had been getting body work with bubs for a few weeks prior to the procedure with a certified lactation consultant, that the owner of the clinic knows.) I wasn't able to make my follow up appointment but asked if I could send through photos for review. The admin staff were so unhelpful and withholding of information about what the process was around sending the photos and the details of my telehealth appointment. After I sent my photos I received no reply.

Such a great experience with great results for myself and my children. I’ve had 2 of my sons treated for tie issues by Dr Alexandra Kotlar and immediately noticed the difference after the procedure. Especially with my last child, and from my previous experience with my third, I felt heard and validated during the consultation, addressing my concerns, my desire to exclusively breastfeed and the plan given to us moving forward. All my interactions with staff have been pleasant, and I’ll definitely be returning to have my children checked over when they are older, as well as recommending them to others needing their services Thanks Alex and team for your kindness and professionalism xx

My baby was booked for a consultation+ procedure today and the experience we had was awful. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances out of my control we were late for the appointment due to a car accident and was given poor direction's to get there by the reception staff while trying to walk there, when we finally arrived we were told by Kate the PA or reception staff "oh you won't be having the procedure today because you're late", I almost walked out crying at this point but continued to wait for the doctor and I was shocked by this statement also she said that because the babies booked after my son will need to be fed and I said well I think everyone deserves to be treated equally important ', and continued to wait for the doctor when the doctor had a look at my son and said that due to the timing and he may not need treatment we have more time and to see the chiropractor and after a few months if I was still concerned or they deemed the procedure necessary then to come back, but now I'm really feeling not confident about what happened at all and did my son miss out on a procedure because we were late or was it not really needed it's questionable from the whole scenario but I'd like to be able to trust what the doctor said but they way we were treated wasn't right, alot of money to pay for a consultation fee over $300 as a single parent I had to take a loan out in order to pay for everything, I hope nobody else has this experience as it's not the reception staff job to decide on who gets a procedure and who doesn't that's for the doctor to determine isn't it? Very questionable behaviour for a clinic that should have empathy and compassion for working with parents and babies'.

My daughter was 11 months old and had tongue tie and lip tie. Dr. Donny and the team looked after her and my family beyond my expectations. Everything was explained so clearly, even from the receptionist on the phone when I made the appointment. The clinic’s so clean, welcoming and everyone was warm and caring. My wife and I felt immediately that we made the best choice for our daughter. Dr. Donny’s amazing with children and the way he explained everything was clear and so easy to understand. The procedure to release the tongue tie and lip tie was very quick. They brought my daughter back to us in less than 5 minutes. We cannot thank Myofocus enough, and I think it’s very important for everyone who has children to know about them.

I cannot recommend this clinic highly enough! My experience over the past several weeks with my child, Telar, undergoing tongue-tie treatment has been nothing short of exceptional. Their holistic and detailed approach is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. Every step of the treatment plan was explained thoroughly, and I always felt confident that Telar was in the best hands. The weekly appointments were not only comprehensive but also tailored to Telar’s specific needs. The team’s dedication to his progress and well-being was evident in everything they did, from their careful attention to detail to their genuine care and kindness. This clinic sets the standard for myofunctional therapy with its holistic focus, professionalism, and compassionate care. I’m deeply grateful for the incredible work they do, and I highly recommend them to anyone seeking a thorough and thoughtful approach to health and wellness.
