I had an appointment with Dr Dan Trinh today. While going to the dentist is usually not an experience I look forward to, Dr Dan went out of his way to make me feel comfortable. He was prompt and welcoming when he greeted me. During the appointment itself, he was gentle with his instruments and frequently checked in to make sure I was doing Ok and not in any discomfort. The Australian Open was playing on a screen on the ceiling of the practice so while my teeth were being sorted I could relax and watch the tennis. Overall a very good experience and I would definitely recommend Dr Dan to anyone looking for a dentist.
Unfortunately I cannot recommend them. From the first moment I stepped in it didn’t feel right. I have been with “my dental” for 17 years. Sadly Melville took over. It was time for my check up so I made an appointment. The two receptionist were uninterested and not friendly. They had my records. But keep asking me about my health fund, they didn’t care to update after I told them. Because when I came back I had the same question asked again. When you make an appointment they make you pay $50. That won’t be used for the treatment. When you do need to see them again, which they tell you need to. They move the deposit to the new appointment. You will never see the money again! Because that’s their rule. $50 for an appointment. A lovely interested free loan there for them. The dentist I saw was average at best. She pushed me to make another appointment for some fillings for cavity she discovered. As I felt obliged I made it in two weeks time. Also they increased the prices, as my first check up was always free, this time I had to pay $30 out of pocket. All in all I won’t return and will find a new dentist.
Had an appointment with Ms Quynh and Dr Jen today, both were so friendly and welcoming. Everything was explained easily and all questions answered. Was the most plesent dental experience I've ever had. Would highly recommend
I love all the staff. Everyone is so nice and lovely and encouraging and wonderful. Never had a better experience at a dentist than I have at this one. They spent like 2 hours trying to save my tooth before deciding the only option was extraction. Truly appreciate the time and care that I was shown. I love you Melville Dentists 💖
Had a really quick but comprehensive clean/ check up appointment. Dr Emily took time to explain potential treatment plan at the end and then the lovely reception staff also thoroughly covered steps forward, including expected quotes for future treatments. My other dental experiences have not been this detailed.
