I highly recommend taking your kids to proud smile jnr in hope island ..After my daughter had a not so great time down the road at another dentist and was told she needed all this work done to her teeth and she absolutely didn't, we were so glad we found this place and got a second opinion. Michelle was so lovely my daughter had the best experience and was even excited to go back for her next appointment! She is so good with the little ones and knows just how to make them feel right at home. It's a normal dentist clinic but just for kids it's so good.

I rarely write reviews, but Dr Erwin is simply too exceptional not to. The level of professionalism, precision, and expertise he provides is incredibly rare nowadays. His kindness and compassion are not only genuine, but clearly an ethos reflected throughout his entire team. He takes the time to explain everything and consistently delivers work of the highest standard. I’m deeply grateful for the care I’ve received and highly recommend Dr Erwin and the practice without hesitation. I finally have the million-dollar smile I never imagined I would have!

I wish I had made a different decision. While the staff were consistently friendly and welcoming throughout my treatment, I feel compelled to share my experience to help others make a fully informed decision before committing to veneers. After investing significant time and money over many months, the final outcome has been deeply disappointing. I had not seen any reviews mentioning long-term difficulties following veneer procedures, and I’ve never left a review before—but I believe it’s important to speak up. Despite clearly stating that I did not want my teeth shaved, I was reassured I was in good hands and that only a couple of millimetres would be removed. Unfortunately, I was not made aware of the sensory issues I would be left with—both within my teeth and throughout my body. I now experience extreme sensitivity to hot and cold food and drinks, requiring daily use of fluoride-heavy sensitive toothpaste. More unexpectedly, I’ve developed sensory discomfort in other areas of my body. For example, walking barefoot on carpet now makes my skin crawl—something I had never experienced prior to the procedure. These changes have had a real impact on my daily life. Additionally, I now wear a retainer every night—something that was never disclosed until the procedure was fully completed. This entire process took many months, and I feel that key information was withheld until it was too late to reconsider. I hope this review helps others properly weigh their options and ask the right questions before undergoing such a life-altering procedure.
