The First Impressions Team were friendly, welcoming and helpful within new and modern facilities. What truly stood out was Dr Mateus’s calm and compassionate manner, paired with exceptional expertise and a genuine commitment to going above and beyond. He identified dental concerns I wasn’t even aware of, and we then developed a clear, personalised plan to address them. I'd highly recommend this practice to my closest friends and family. Best Dental Clinic in town, can’t recommend them enough! My husband had a great experience with CDC and urged me to book an appointment - I’m so glad I did! To start with, the reception ladies are super friendly, welcoming and efficient. They made me feel looked after the moment I walked into the clinic, which is beautiful with an inviting atmosphere. Taking the time to explain everything to me clearly and gently, Dr. Mateus demonstrated his professionaism with his empathetic nature. Fortunately, he found a few pressing issues I wasn’t aware of previously. Biggest ticket item: I had to bring my 10-week-old baby to the appointment, which made things a bit tricky, but Dr. Mateus accommodated the situation so well with patience and genuine care - making me feel at ease. What could have been a really difficult experience turned out to be a wonderful one, I left there with a big smile (very clean btw!) Hannah, his dental assistant was also wonderful! Thanks for your help with the baby :) Thank you so much guys and please keep up with the great work.
Dr Mateus was brilliant. Diagnosed and treated my tooth is a way that exceeded all my expectations. Extremely competent, highly skilled,, plus a genuine caring professional. He went above and beyond and was the first one to actually successfully resolve my problem. He is not only a fantastic professional but also has genuine care for his patients. I can’t recommend him enough. So lucky I found him. Definitely the best dentist in the Gold Coast.
First time I visited the practice and the whole team made were so kind and helpful. Dr Matthew Wood was amazing, with Jen and Lee I believe on the desk were so patient and friendly. I feel very lucky to have found such an empathetic team. Very much recommend this practice.
Very satisfied with the experience overall. Came in with an extremely painful tooth - root canal treatment was required. Got an appointment very next morning after calling in. And a next one at a convenient time for me as I was on a very tight schedule. Dr Mateus was calm, confident and very professional, quickly identified the problem and made a treatment plan. At all times I was made aware of what's going on and what steps will be performed. Dr Mateus many thanks once again! Highly recommend
