Dr Wong is an exceptional dental surgeon whose skill and care truly stand out. From the moment we met him, his calm and reassuring manner put both my daughter and our family completely at ease. My daughter needed four teeth extracted in preparation for her braces, and the procedure was handled with remarkable precision and professionalism. Her recovery was incredibly smooth — within 24 hours she was back to eating normally, which exceeded our expectations.
I met with Dr Kottege late 2025 and unfortunately did not have a good experience. She asked irrelevant questions, such as if my kid was an only child. Anything I asked to understand xrays and risks for my child were met with impatience and dismissal. I actually felt uncomfortable to ask further questions and felt like I was being a nuisance. The outcome she told us was not correct and we ended up having to go back to our usual dentist to fix the issue. The whole experience has left me extremely reluctant to go back, even if they are the only specialist paediatric clinic in ACT. For what the clinic charges, some patience for patients by the actual dentist would have been appreciated. Otherwise, no issues with the clinic and admin staff were absolutely lovely.
My children have been patients of Dr Wong for a few years now. Two of my children have had major dental work due to pre-existing medical conditions. Dr Wong has been outstanding dealing with dental trauma from a previous dentist. The skill, dedication and care taken by Dr Wong and staff is amazing. Dr Wong really cares for his patients, he takes time to talk parents through procedures in detail and give treatment options. He talks kids through the process in a way that builds trust and ensures children feel safe and heard. Dr Wong is thorough and any urgent issues are deal with promptly. I only wish Dr Wong could treat adults too, he is amazing. Dr Wong really is the best. Dental health is so important from a really young age and we are so lucky to have Dr Wong in Canberra.
Wonderful experiences by our two kids at this practice over a number of years including repair of chipped front teeth. Both Dr Wong and Dr Bradshaw have been brilliant, from bed side manner to expertise in dental work given.
Dr Julia Bradshaw and her lovely assistant were fantastic treating my young daughter. They were both very supportive and helped put my mind at ease during a very stressful time. Highly recommend!
