After braces my mid-line is misaligned, one side of the bottom row of my teeth is tilted up significantly to the point where you can see my gums when I smile on that side. A gap from a missing tooth was attempted to be closed but failed and now the gap is too small for an implant but still large enough for food to get stuck or jab my gum. It also displaced bone which you can see bulging through my gums. Several bottom teeth have become chipped as a result of hitting the permanent retainer on the top row. Several teeth have also formed hairline cracks after the braces were removed

I had my braces put on yesterday by Dr Liz Fisher and her wonderful staff. The clinic is renovated beautifully and is comfortable. The staff were all so efficient and kind. The procedure itself was painless, and way better than I had expected it to be. Ash, the hygienist and Dr Liz both worked on my teeth, with Sari assisting, and they worked together so seamlessly. I received some instructions and a take home pack and I’m so excited to see how my teeth turn out. Highly recommend!

Steer clear of Brisbane orthodontics! I sought a redo of my top wire, having faced recurring issues with breakage due to my deep bite. Despite a $400 payment, this experience was notably worse than previous ones. Post-wire completion, I expressed extreme discomfort as I found myself biting on glue, hindering proper mouth closure and jaw relaxation. Their response was dismissive, asserting that I needed a week to adjust. The following day, the persistent pain, particularly affecting select teeth, prompted another call to Brisbane orthodontics. To my dismay, they remained indifferent, citing a two-week wait for an orthodontist appointment. Over the weekend, the pain escalated to the point where sleep became disrupted. In desperation, I sought assistance from my dentist who identified I was hitting the actual wire and with my deep bite the wire would have been better suited closer to my gum. The resolution involved a $200 expense to remove the wire and alleviate pressure until my orthodontic appointment in two weeks. Upon updating Brisbane orthodontics about my situation and the need for a new wire, their response was a "gesture of goodwill" – a $250 charge to rectify their initial error. Expressing my discontent, I contested the fairness of this, only to be met with the assertion that nothing was wrong with the wire. They placed blame on me for not enduring a week of pain and sleep disruption, an experience entirely foreign to me with previous wires.

I am very pleased with my experience at Brisbane Orthodontics. The Orthodontist’s have an extreme eye for detail, which is shown throughout their work!
